Tanya is a nursing student who started working at Macquarie Vet Clinic in mid 2016. She is currently studying to complete her Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing through TAFE. Ever since she has joined the practice, she has been a very fast learner and fit in with our team straight away. She has a passion for adopting all our strays and wildlife as well as surgical nursing in the hospital especially in the field of orthopedics. In her spare time, Tanya is busy being a mum of two young girls and looking after an array of animals, including a horse. She also enjoys camping trips with her partner and family. Tanya is also is a hobbiest photographer and volunteers her skills for the Animal Welfare League in taking portraits of cats available for adoption. At the workplace, Tanya strives to practice ethical and gentle animal handling while educating clients about animal welfare in an approachable way.
